Key Responsibilities
  • Review and verify invoices for completeness and accuracy
  • Input invoices into the accounting system using the right codes and allocations
  • Monitor accounts payable aging and follow up on overdue invoices
  • Prepare intercompany invoices
  • Prepare monthly accruals and journal entries for accounts payable transactions
  • Assisting with month closing and year closing activities, preparing reports and reconciliations related to accounts payable
  • Participation in accounts payable optimization process
What you need to succeed in this role:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field ( or being last year student )

  • At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting position

  • Good English skills - both written and spoken

  • Fluency in Russian

  • Experience with accounting systems

  • Excellent attention to the details and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Experience with international VAT law and regulations is preferred
