Head of UX/UI Design

We're looking for a Head of UX/UI Design to guide the design of our digital products, especially our new mobile app. You'll shape the user experience, set the design tone, and help build a strong design culture across the team.

What You Will Do:

• Define and implement the overall UX/UI vision and strategy for digital products, aligning with business goals and customer needs
• Advocate for and incorporate user research and usability testing methodologies to validate design decisions and gather user feedback
  
• Provide design leadership for the development and enhancement of our new mobile application, ensuring a modern, intuitive, and user-friendly experience
  
• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across all digital touchpoints
  
• Integrate user-centered design methodologies into the overall product development lifecycle and cross-functional team workflows
  
• Establish clear guidelines and standards for design deliverables, tools, and processes, promoting efficiency and quality within the design team
  
• Lead the selection process for new designers joining various teams across the bank, ensuring the acquisition of top talent. This includes assessing the skills and capabilities of design candidates
  
• Recruit & mentor community UX/UI designers, fostering their professional growth and development
  
• Set up and lead a "Design Competence Center" for the whole bank, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practices across design teams
  
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions are feasible, viable, and desirable
  

What We Expect:

• At least 7 years of experience in UX/UI design and a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within UX/UI design
• Demonstrated experience working for a product company (client-side/in-house) focused on B2C digital products
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry would be a plus
• A strong portfolio showcasing a user-centered design approach and successful delivery of digital products, particularly in mobile
• A deep understanding of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Proficiency in UX/UI design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and experience with design systems and component libraries
• Solid understanding of mobile and web technologies and development processes
• Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities
  
• Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level
