What you will do:
As the Accountant you will help to process, account and control accounting documents in Latvia and other countries where subsidiaries are located.
You will:
• Check and book accounting documents e.g. incomings invoices, bank transactions and other GL bookings;
• Will be a significant support in sales invoice process;
• Mentor Junior Accountants;
• Participate in the preparation of monthly closure reports and reports of the Bank of Latvia;
• Prepare the necessary statistical data upon request;
• Provide support to the rest of the accounting team members in daily work;
• Be a significant part of the implementation of the new accounting program.
Your professional skills and background:
• 1+ year experience in Accounting;
• Good level of written and spoken Latvian and English;
• Good knowledge of the Latvian accounting and tax framework;
• Skills in accounting software (MS Dynamics and Horizon) will be considered as an advantage;
• Computer skills at an advanced user level (MS Office);
• Good communication skills, accuracy and ability to work independently;
• Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
