Risk Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Risk Analyst to join our dynamic fintech team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the profitability of our financial products by evaluating credit risks and refining our credit evaluation processes. You will work closely with management to provide data-driven recommendations and contribute to strengthening the risk culture across the company. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and continuously improve the credit evaluation process.
• Ensure product profitability by evaluating credit risk, setting limits, and optimizing pricing logic.
• Assess the creditworthiness of borrowers, identify key risks, and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Analyze and monitor the credit portfolio, identifying risk factors and preparing development forecasts.
• Monitor credit risk at the individual customer application level.
• Participate in the preparation of risk reports for regulatory authorities.
• Promote and strengthen risk culture and knowledge within the company.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in credit risk analysis in finance field at least 2 years.
• A degree in a mathematics-related field such as economics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or similar.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical and mathematical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Amongst other competencies an advantage will be:

• Experience with programming languages used for data processing and analysis (e.g., Python, R).
• Experience working with loan management systems.
• Experience with provisioning and related processes.

Compensation:

Each candidate we meet with is considered individually to understand their professional skills, experience, and how they can enrich our company, while also taking into account their personal goals and growth aspirations. The salary we offer is from 3000 EUR- 4000 EUR gross.
