Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of Global Finance organization and responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Circle K Business Centre is now looking for another passionate professional to join our competent team in an international and dynamic work environment in a position of:
MANAGER ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING
Type of Employment: Permanent
Location: Riga, Latvia
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)
RRESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for end-to-end Record to Report department (R2R) process management for Intercompany (IC) team and ensuring tasks are delivered in accordance to agreed service levels on quality and timeliness and per internal / external policy and regulation.
Personnel responsibility for R2R IC team, including but not limited to optimal organization of placement of tasks, recruiting and retaining highly qualified, motivated and agile personnel.
Responsible for standardizing and automating of R2R processes and ensuring efficient and high quality deliveries.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Manage operational issues and challenges faced by team, and ensure close dialog with Service Receiver (Circle K related companies in Europe and North America)
Circle K AS, Business Centre Riga, Business Centre Warsaw, Circle K Procurement and Brands, Circle K Terminal Holding accounting and reporting
All Intercompany balance reconciliation and intercompany data provision for audit and Transfer pricing documentation purposes
Maintenance and execution Cost allocation models
Drive process improvements, quality and standardization efforts for accounting and financial reporting processes
Coordinate internal and external audits
Develop and maintain a motivated and high-performing team
Manage team operational planning, recruitment process and goal setting
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
University degree or higher education in economics or finance field
Strong background (7+ years) in accounting or audit field, preferably within an international work environment
Solid knowledge of IFRS
Experience with general ledger functions, statutory reporting and month-end/ year-end close process
Experience with people management and good communication skills
Self-driven, pro-active, ability to process wide amount of data in certain due dates
Proficient in English to be able to communicate with colleagues in EU and NA.
