Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of Global Finance organization and responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations. Circle K is looking for a new colleague to join our team as:
Accountant in Record-to-Report Intercompany TeamType of Employment: Permanent
Location: Riga, Latvia
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)
Your responsibilities will include
Performing intercompany transactions reconciliation, resolve discrepancies and errors
Managing operational issues, resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities faced in accounting and reporting area
Ensuring close dialogue with Business units and various stakeholders in Europe and North America
Ensuring compliance of internal controls in accordance with the Group's guidelines
Participation in challenging improvement projects in accounting/ reporting area
Qualities that would help you to perform in this position:
Experience in accounting or audit, preferably within an international work environment
Precise, pro-active, positive, analytical, organized and stress resistant personality
Willingness and ability to work in a changing environment
Good computer skills (Excel) and general accounting system background (Oracle JDE is an advantage)
Fluent English language skills (oral and writing) to communicate with colleagues and stakeholders
University degree in economics, finance, accounting, mathematics or similar
Personality that continuously challenges existing processes and looks for improvements
