We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team and help us deliver exceptional applications experiences with a focus on quality and innovation

If's Baltic Claims unit is dedicated to delivering exceptional digital experiences across the Baltics. To support our deliveries of exceptional quality, we are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join us.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will ensure our applications deliver seamless, high-quality experiences for our users. You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, analysts and designers, bringing your expertise in testing and problem-solving to the table. Additionally, you will take part in the Baltic Quality Engineering community by contributing to overall Quality Engineering guidelines and best practices.

What are you going to do?
  • Create and execute test plans and cases that cover all aspects of our applications
  • Dive into manual testing to catch those hard-to-spot issues, from UI glitches to tricky edge cases
  • Build and maintain automated tests based on Playwright framework
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and reproduce bugs, making sure issues are resolved quickly
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement
  • Bring a proactive mindset, identifying risks and improvement opportunities before they become problems
What do we expect from you?

Must have

  • Multiple years of experience in quality engineering, with extensive experience with API and GUI
  • Knowledge of one or more programming languages
  • Strong understanding of quality processes and methodologies
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Insomnia
  • Familiarity with JSON, XML, and API authentication mechanisms (e.g., OAuth)
  • Hands-on knowledge and proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks
  • Basic understanding of databases and SQL
  • Comfortable working in Agile teams and collaborating with cross-functional teammates
  • You are a team player, can collaborate effectively with others
  • Day-to-day responsibilities require a good level of English to communicate with clients and colleagues

Nice to have

  • Excellent communication skills and a self-driven, can-do attitude
  • Experience in collaborating with developers, product owners, analysts, and designers
  • ISTQB certification
