With offices in Riga and Vilnius, the team is rapidly growing and we are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team in Riga. Working here, you will be part of a dynamic mix of people with different backgrounds, skills, experiences, and passionate minds.

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team as our first dedicated quality assurance professional. This is a pivotal, hands-on role where you will not only define and build our entire QA framework from the ground up but also set the quality standard for the product.

You will be responsible for creating a strategic roadmap, implementing automation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in close collaboration with our development and product teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define, develop, and maintain the overall QA vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with our business and product objectives.

  • Review and implement a robust QA framework, establishing quality standards, policies, and metrics.

  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks for various application types (web and API).

  • Develop strategies for continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) and integrate automated testing throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Design detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases. Execute various testing types, including:

    • Functional & Regression: Manually test new features and maintain automated regression suites.

    • Performance & Load: Assess product performance and ensure systems can handle anticipated loads using tools like k6, JMeter, or Locust.

    • Security & API: Identify vulnerabilities and ensure the reliability of our APIs.

  • Lead initiatives for quality improvements based on assessment results and contribute to architectural discussions to ensure quality alignment.

  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure a shared vision for quality.

  • Create and maintain all documentation related to QA procedures and test assets.
