Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing, configuring, migrating, and maintaining Oracle databases on Linux platforms to ensure data security and integrity.
  • Architecting database solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to team standards.
  • Monitoring database health and performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime.
  • Ensuring database security through access control, encryption, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Managing backup and recovery processes to maintain data availability and disaster readiness.
  • Applying patches and upgrades to database software to ensure timely updates and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to drive changes and improve database performance.
  • Maintaining documentation related to specific configurations to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Enhancing and automating routine maintenance and operational processes to streamline tasks and reduce errors.

In this role, we seek individuals with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle DBA, preferably with expertise in Middleware (Forms/Reports, BI), Oracle database installation, security, maintenance, backup/recovery, patching, and HA solutions (Data Guard, RAC). Strong skills in database performance tuning and incident resolution are essential, along with proficiency in Linux environments and scripting/automation.
