We are looking for a motivated Junior Middleware Engineer to join our integration team. This role is a great opportunity for someone with a Java background and knowledge of web services who wants to build a career in banking. You will be involved in developing, maintaining, and supporting middleware applications, while learning advanced integration technologies along the way.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and maintain integration components
  • Implement and support RESTful and SOAP services
  • Assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving middleware-related issues
  • Work closely with senior engineers to implement changes and improvements
  • Document solutions and provide technical support for applications
  • Learn and grow expertise in enterprise integration platforms and middleware tools 

What We Expect: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering studies
  • At least 2 years of programming experience with Java
  • Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and SOAP web services
  • Understanding of software development principles and integration concepts
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level 

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to IBM MQ or IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services
  • Basic Linux knowledge (commands, scripting, troubleshooting)
