Are you ready to kick off the next step of your career and take an active part in the future of Merck science driven journey? We are looking for a skilled colleague to strengthen our team in Baltics.

Your role: 

In this role, you will be responsible for translating Global market access strategy and Regional operations into local access, pricing and value demonstration activities. Functional focus is at national access operations. You will also act as an internal pricing consultant, leveraging your strong analytical skills and stakeholder management expertise. You will collaborate cross-functionally to understand business drivers and ensure effective global price setting that adapts to evolving market needs.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Develop Baltic MAP strategy in collaboration with Head of Market Access & Pricing, Baltics
  • Engage with payers and government agencies, and monitoring market and legislative changes
  • Anticipate future stakeholder interests and provide feedback into the organization
  • Adopt Global MAP strategy into country level according to local needs and integrate country MAP strategy into local business processes
  • Manage processes to gain and maintain access on national level
  • Translate and communicate country MAP strategy into clear priorities and tasks
  • Champion pricing process improvements, ensure the pricing Governance policy is followed by the Baltics organization

Who you are:

  • University degree required, preferably in scientific field of relevance to position
  • Other advanced degree (non-scientific) and/or business degree/training is advantageous
  • 5+ years of pharma business
  • Experienced in P&R
  • Good knowledge of the local health care and decision-making system
  • Experience with building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in English
