Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for a team player who will join our team as:

SENIOR SPECIALIST FINANCE in Accounts Receivable team

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure non-stop, complete accounts receivable process run within expected quality

  • Support team in handling complex internal and external requests

  • Support team in account balance discrepancy analysis and perform necessary corrections

  • Monitor period closing processes, report any concerns, initiate, coordinate and execute resolution and improvements

  • Participate and be responsible for timely execution of external and internal audit requests

  • Perform all internal control activities and report any discovered weaknesses. Participate in internal control development and implementation

  • Analyze accounts receivable processes and initiate improvements. Drive improvement implementation

  • By Team Lead assignment participate in various projects (business change initiatives, team's initiatives or other)

  • Initiate and maintain respectful cooperation with other teams and departments

  • Support and assist Team lead in organizing daily teamwork and achieving team operational goals

  • Substitute Team Leader, when absent, in operational questions, processes and projects under team's responsibility

Main requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

  • Previous experience in accounting, preferably AR processes of 2-5 years

  • Good computer skills (MS Office)

  • General understanding of ERP systems (SAP, JDE would be considered as an advantage)

  • Very good communication and collaboration skills, positive attitude, and pro-activeness

  • Proficiency in English is required (speaking, writing) for communication with colleagues in Europe

  • Precise, analytical, organized and stress-resistant personality
