Join DNB as Local Regulatory officer at DNB Latvia branch

DNB Latvia Branch is seeking a highly skilled Local Regulatory officer to join our team. This role provides advisory support and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements in cooperation with Group Compliance, T&S, Risk, and Quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Advisory Support:


• Provide continuous advisory assistance to DNB Latvia branch collaborating with Group Compliance and Risk teams.


• Educate business and support units on significant compliance issues and recommended actions.


• Report to Management on major compliance developments in the market.


• Conduct regular training and awareness programs to ensure compliance requirements are met.

2. Policies and Procedures:


• Coordinate with internal teams to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.


• Ensure DNB Latvia branch policies align with local regulatory requirements.

3. Compliance Management:


• Monitor the regulatory environment and assist in regulatory compliance efforts.


• Act as the Sub-DPO (Data Protection Officer) for the office.


• Maintain communication with local financial supervisory authorities and internal stakeholders.


• Conduct annual regulatory and service reviews.


• Prepare and monitor SLA and transfer pricing documentation.


• Develop plans to address non-compliances identified during audits.

4. Operations and Risk Management:


• Identify, register, and mitigate internal and external risks in cooperation with compliance teams.


• Serve as the backup for the regional security officer.


• Provide legal service support and act as the local SPOC for Group Legal.


• Execute tasks assigned by the Group Compliance and Risk teams.


• Stay updated on regulatory standards and ensure their application in the office.

Required Competencies:


• Educational Background: Law degree or relevant college/ university education.


• Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role, preferably in large, complex organizations.


• Strong industry expertise in GBS, SCC, or finance.


• High personal integrity and ethical standards.


• Ability to handle complex situations and contribute to organizational development.
