Role OverviewAs a Reconciliation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and transparency of financial data. You'll be responsible for checking and reconciling large volumes of transactions, ensuring data integrity across different financial streams. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, disciplined, and ready to take ownership of their work.
Key Responsibilities- Transaction Reconciliation: Verify and reconcile transactions across various financial streams.
- Data Management: Work with Excel/Google Sheets and internal systems to maintain accurate records.
- Issue Detection: Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Data Accuracy: Ensure transparency and precision in all financial data.
- Process Adherence: Follow established procedures and contribute to a culture of accuracy and responsibility.
- Experience: 1–2 years in fintech, banking, or payments is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong skills in working meticulously with numbers and large data sets.
- Quick Learner: Ability to quickly adapt to company-specific processes and systems.
- Responsibility: High level of accountability and accuracy in daily work.
- Discipline: Consistent and reliable in meeting deadlines and following instructions.
- Ownership: Takes initiative and does not delegate tasks upward unnecessarily.
