Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to help us ensure the quality of our cross-border payment solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work on meaningful financial products with complex integrations, diverse user needs, and high demands for reliability.

The successful candidate will work closely with the development team to test both our mobile application (iOS, Android) and backend APIs. They will design, write, and execute test cases for mobile apps and backend APIs, participate in manual functional testing for new features, integrations, and regression cycles, and develop and maintain automated tests as part of our test suite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, write, and execute test cases for mobile apps and backend APIs.
  • Participate in manual functional testing for new features, integrations, and regression cycles.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests (e.g. UI, API, integration) as part of our test suite.
  • Analyze defects, investigate root causes, and ensure clear reporting.
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve our testing processes and coverage.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing (mobile or backend).
  • Familiarity with mobile app testing challenges (devices, OS versions, UI testing).
  • Experience testing REST APIs (tools like Postman or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with test automation (at least basic scripting in JavaScript, Python, or Java).
  • Solid understanding of software development and QA processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
Nice to Haves:
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
  • Previous experience in the financial domain.
