ABOUT THE ROLE:

Whether you're based in Riga or Vilnius, you'll join a team of dedicated professionals in the financial technology sector, contributing to high-impact projects that ensure software quality, stability, and scalability through advanced test automation practices.

As a Test Automation Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks that support continuous delivery and software excellence.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for web-based systems (UI and API level).
  • Develop test automation scripts and frameworks aligned with the projects technology stack.
  • Ensure high regression and smoke test coverage through automation.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and analysts to understand functionality and define testing strategies.
  • Investigate complex defects, perform root cause analysis, and document findings.
  • Execute and monitor automated test runs; analyze and report results.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA practices and automation frameworks.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

  • 3+ years of experience in test automation, preferably for web applications.
  • Experience in accessibility requirements implementation projects.
  • Hands-on experience with front-end or API automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Karate, or Postman.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Understanding of REST API testing and related tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to investigate and identify root causes of complex issues.
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to work independently within an Agile team.
  • Fluent English (both written and spoken).

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in accessibility requirements implementation projects is the priority.
  • UI test automation using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • REST and SOAP API testing with Karate or Postman.
  • Experience developing end-to-end automated test scenarios.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Understanding of cross-browser testing and responsive design validation.
  • Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
