Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is part of Circle K's Global Finance organization and is responsible for full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations.

Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for a team player who will join our team as:

ACCOUNTANT in Asset Control Team

(Position is Temporary for 1,5 years)

Main responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting of fixed assets in accordance to Group deadlines and guidelines for Business unit results on a monthly, quarterly, and year-end basis.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities faced in accounting and reporting area related to fixed assets for the supported Business unit.
• Ensure close dialogue with technical leaders in Business unit about various CAPEX projects and various stakeholders in Business center.
• Ensure compliance of internal controls in accordance with the Group's guidelines.
• Take an active part in knowledge transfer project.
• Contribute to maintaining procedure descriptions and instructions.

Main requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting;
• Relevant work experience in accountancy, at least 2 years, preferably within an international work environment;
• Goal-oriented, proactive, with a high level of responsibility;
• Ability to work in a changing environment;
• Good computer skills and general accounting system background (SAP, Oracle JDE and Longview is an advantage);
• Fluent English language skills, knowledge of German or French is an advantage.
