Credit Specialist with Norwegian language skills

We are looking for a self-driven and competent Credit Specialist to join our Debt Collection team As a Credit Specialist at our company you will be working with B2B, B2C customers where trustworthy and ability to work independently is essential. The main responsibility will be to analyze credit risks and collect aged debts to achieve financial goals and at the same time to minimize the risk of sales on credit.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily monitoring on customer portfolio to identify outstanding debts;
• Handle customer inquiries on daily basis;
• Regularly solve problems regarding customer inquiries (internal and external issues);
• Coordinate and lead problem solving issues (together with debt collection agency, internal departments, IT, business units);
• Prepare and analyze weekly debt aging portfolio and define debt collection actions / strategy;
• Prepare reporting;
• Closely collaborate with Business units and external collection agencies;
• Ensure continuous collection process evaluation and improvements;
• Participate in debt collection projects to improve efficiency and quality;
• Answer to Customers incoming emails regarding debts.

Requirements:

• Degree in economics or finance;
• Proven experience as a debt collection specialist;
• Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques;
• Proficiency and understanding of ERP systems;
• Experienced MS Excel user;
• Fluent English and Norwegian language (written and oral);
• Ability to teamwork, communicate and collaborate;
• Patient, trustworthy and strong personality;
• Analytic mindset, strong stress-handling ability, responsible attitude;
• Improvement and innovation-driven, lean-orientated individual.
